After a harrowing adventure home, we slept like babies. A late start to the morning provided the perfect start to a blissfully empty day.

The weather is sunny and breezy which is good when laundry needs doing. We returned to Tuka Tula for our meal of the day (lunch). I love that we are known at certain places. It makes you feel like a local.

Tuka Tula is on the surfing beach and it’s so fun to watch the surfers. You find yourself holding your breath and rooting for them.

Mark has much work to catch up on so I am doing a whole lot of nothing – and couldn’t be happier about it.

I’ll focus on my arm PT, laundry and will meander down to the spa later today.
