Today was our last full day in Ponta Delgada. We feel like we have done all the things, eaten all the foods, and seen all the sites. Certainly that cannot be true but we have given it our best and I think we did pretty good.

And so, we opted to get our steps in today over hopping in the car. After a warm, windy walk we returned to our house for some cards and drinks.
Yesterday at the pineapple plantation, we bought a pineapple soda and pineapple IPA. We shared both with some fruit and cheese and gave them both a hearty thumbs up.

While Mark began his work day, I returned to the spa to have a massage on my shoulder/arm. The lady I found is quite a talented therapist and she made it hurt so good. Hoping this allows more movement and flexibility as I do my PT.
For our final dinner in the city, we returned to the place where we had our first dinner – A Tasca. Tonight, we enjoyed soup, Tuna Bruschetta, a puff pastry filled with cheese, honey and walnuts, and a shared main dish of seeded tuna. It was fantastic.

Tomorrow, we head to Mosteiros on the west coast of the island…
