Today we said good-bye to our city house and moved to the west coast.

But before we left town, we wanted to stop by Massa Mae Bakery. They specialize in sour doughs but they are only open Thurs-Sun 11-4 and we had not been in town yet when they were open.

Heading west was a foggy drive and near zero visibility at times. We came across a group of pilgrims hiking in the fog.

The home we are staying in is right on the water. The sound of the waves crashing is ever present and the power of the water is awe inspiring.

In the city, our house was quite modern. On the coast, our house is authentic. I love this little house even though we are “roughing it”’a bit.

There are chickens, dogs and Guinea pigs on site. We fed the chickens after dinner.
Tomorrow we will begin exploring a whole new area!
